Mermaid Hair Extensions (TAPE-INS)

Come in to appointment with freshly CLEAN & DRY hair , your natural oils will interfere with the tape-in adhesive.

DO NOT WASH or get wet for 48 hrs after install.

Wearing

"Mermaid Hair" gives you colorful streaks using high quality HH tape-in extensions.

Can be worn 4-6 weeks before removal is required.

Do NOT go to bed with wet hair.

Wash & Condition with sulfate-free products.

Rinse well after swimming in chlorine or saltwater. For swimming, apply a conditioner/mask on the mid shaft & ends & wear a low braid.

For hair health, apply conditioning mask once a month, on mid shift/ ends of hair.

Use microfiber towels to dry, a silk pillowcase or bonnet for sleeping

Washing :

Wash hair with only sulfate free products. Condition mid-shaft & ends only. Do not scrub hair to make tangles. Be mindful of the extension base in hair. Gently brush after washing. Use soft bristle brush or "wet" brush. Be extra gentle at extension base.

Styling :

Hair is weakest when wet, use detangling spray before brushing. Start at the ends & work your way up. Brush gently at the root, use a gentle bristle brush or "wet" brush. Use soft hair ties.

Use low heat when blow drying.

Ponytails, buns, braids, etc. should be loose. Tight hair styles will pull the extensions over time.

Use heat protectant when straightening, curling, using heat tools of any kind. Let heat protectant dry before applying heat.

Removal:

After 4-6 weeks of wear the extension will need to be removed. We strongly suggest having a professional remove the extension to avoid damage to the hair. Home removal kits & instructions are available.

Important Notes: the hair extension can be re-taped & used multiple times, depending on your home care.

Can be easily clipped in and out at any time. to hold for longer tease the area near the root, before you apply the clip.
